The Winterfell Privateers is a free association of independent owners of sailing vessels, residents or friends of Winterfell, who wish
to sail and explore the Second Life seas, displaying the Winterfell flags, either the Grey and Purple National flag, the White Naval Ensign, or the Black Pirate Flag.

The Winterfell Privateers are officially sanctioned by the Lady Seneschelf and carry Letters of Marque that officially state that they act
as Winterfell's authorized agents.

Being a free association of ship captains, and in line with the recognized spirit of independence that has always characterized the Winterfallens, the Privateers do not have a complex structure, aside from the Lady Seneschelf's warrant (which does not rule out cooperation in sailing together or organizing events or creating objects and outfits), but they sometimes informally meet (and drink) at Green Fairy in Winterfell Absinthe.All are invited to share their stories, experiences, other useful information (places to visit, slurls of rezz areas, etc) and images to document their voyages and their explorations and the Winterfell flag shown in the faraway lands of the metaverse.

If you belong to the Winterfell group in world and to the Winterfell NING and you own a sailable vessel where the Winterfell flag can be displayed, join the Winterfeel Privateers group and leave a message with the name and an image of your ship(s). Then start sailing the SL waters displaying the Winterfell flag in the most remote corners of the grid!
