Sadly, the Summer of 2009 has seen the passing of some of Generation X's biggest pop culture icons, for example Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and one of the people who truly defined Gen X, filmmaker John Hughes. Hughes showed what it was like to really be a teenager in the mid 1980s in movies like National Lampoon's Vacation, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, Some Kind of Wonderful, Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink. I (Gabrielle) can say this, because I was one of those teenagers.Tags:
